The Skies
Marlike Marks has photographed the sky for as long as she can remember. What began as a habit slowly became an obsession and eventually formed an ongoing collection. Without a specific goal, she kept returning to the act of looking upward, drawn by changing light, cloud formations, and the constant movement of the atmosphere.
The photographs are driven by fascination and attention rather than narrative, shaped by repeated encounters with a subject that never appears the same twice.
